Myrna Aylward - myrna@transforming-self.com licensed PRH Educator/Counselor offers PRH and (Personality and Human Relations) education in personality and personal growth development as well as counseling for individuals, couples and groups.
TIME FRAME: Longer PRH workshops of app. 28 hours or 5 days in length are offered in shorter modules over a five-ten week period: evening/mornings, one full day over 5 weeks or two weekends to meet the needs of your busy schedules.
Shorter introductory workshops arrange from 2 hours to 12 hours in length.

Discovering the Core of My Identity - An insightful workshop that helps us to name and own aspects of ourselves that will increase our chances of making personal progress and discovering the meaning of our lives. Dates: Five Thursday mornings; Feb. 3, 10, 17 & 24, (9:15am-11:30 am)
Moving From Grief to New Life - A workshop to help you in this process of dealing with grief and moving forward. Dates: Four Monday mornings; Feb. 7, 14, 21 & 28, (Sat. 9:15am-11:30 am)
Parental Collaboration in the Education of Children - (how to create an educational atmosphere)
Parental interaction, dialogue, agreement and harmony are indispensable in a child's educational growth. When these are in place the child will grow to be secure, independent and aware of their own gifts as well as their needs. How do parents create this atmosphere for their child? What are some tools and means to help parents progress in creating this essential environment ? Dates: Four Thursdays, March 3, 10, 17 & 24, (7:00pm-9:00pm)
The Power of Feelings (The positive strength of my feelings and what they tell me)
What you feel often makes you feel excited, energized, uneasy, and/or anxious. To explore these feelings will help you understand why you feel this way in specific circumstances. You can then work to either increase these positive feelings and/or ease those that cause you anxiety and pain. The results are a more peaceful and happier you. This workshop aims at helping you discover: the true value of your feelings; to develop a constructive interaction between your mind and your feelings and to let go of a culture in which “feelings” are experienced as an obstacle or hindrance. Dates: Three Monday evening, March 7, 14 & 21, (7:00pm-9:00pm)
A Deeper Awareness and Appreciation of the Value of My Life - This workshop looks at our reality from a positive perspective so we can experience and begin to integrate who we are deep within, and to identify the many helpful resources are available to us. Dates: Three Wednesdays, April 13, 20 & 27, (7:00pm-9:00pm)
Loving and Being Loved - are positive aspects of ourselves that we, at times, live well and at other times live not so well. These are also basic human needs which we attempt to fill in a variety of ways. The more we understand these aspects of ourselves and these needs, the better we can live them in our day to day lives. We will also discover conditions necessary for living a more harmonious life. Dates: one Saturday, April 2, (9:15am-3:15pm) and Five Thursdays, 7, 14, 21 & 28, (7:00pm-9:00pm)
Journal Writing for Self-Understanding - introduces a method of writing that will help you to understand better yourself and your feelings/emotions. This tool is invaluable to anyone seeking to understand themselves and to make sense of their life. It will impact the way you relate to others and will create more peaceful, honest and positive relationships. Dates: Four Mondays, April 4, 11, 18 & 25, (7:00pm-9:00pm)
Growing In Personal Solidity - This workshop invites you to come and explore a broader perspective of yourself which will reassure you and stimulate you to be faithful to your whole person. Dates: (to be determined)
